I work at the intersection of art and social anthropology. My practice is essentially drawing based and extends to kinetic installations and video. I draw inspiration from geography, ethnography, fractal geometry, and functional mathematics. My work focuses on narratives and issues that are concerned with forced migration, (invisible) labor, identity and gender roles. My work often reflects upon the uncertainties, vulnerabilities, and challenges that mark contemporary life.
